Lauren Barney

“I proudly identify as queer, and enjoy working the the LGBTQ+ community. I believe that above all, most people crave human connection and feeling understood. It can be difficult to feel these things when the person who is supposed to share them with you doesn’t seem interested or able. Most of us are not taught how to be in relationships; we learn through examples shown to us in our families, friends, media, and our personal experiences, and we use this as our blueprint. My goal is to morph your blueprint into one that matches the scientific evidence on how satisfied partners go about getting the connection and understanding they need from each other. Through our collaboration, I will give you step-by-step tools and methods for improving communication, strengthening intimacy, and creating long-lasting change. Let’s dive in and begin the work!”
