Paul Weiss, M.S., is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received a B.S. in Family Social Services and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Northern Illinois University’s Accredited Graduate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy. Paul has experience working with clients of all ages from children to older adults in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, court systems, and community behavioral health agencies. Paul’s easy-going style and sense of humor help couples relax in the midst of stressful circumstances. He believes that couples therapy doesn’t need to be another stressful event in the already-stressful lives that many couples lead, and partners look forward to their sessions with him. Paul also believes in getting the quickest results possible. His understanding nature and ability to quickly assess a situation enables him to give clients clear, specific feedback and strategies for change. His therapy is run efficiently with clients feeling understood, hopeful, and with a clear plan for change.
Paul’s engaging style, enthusiasm, and sense of humor along with his grasp of new knowledge emerging from neurobiology, the relationship sciences, and the field of emotional intelligence have made him a sought after speaker and presenter at schools, universities, churches, clinics, and hospitals.
